New NINJAGO World at LEGOLAND California! | #NinjagoWorld #LegolandCA

The new NINJAGO World at LEGOLAND California Resort is officially opened where guests can train like a ninja before they take on villains in the interactive 4D ride. There are four main ninja training areas including Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane representing each of their elements: fire, lightning, earth and ice.

NINJAGO The Ride uses cutting-edge hand gesture technology, manufactured by Triotech, which also includes heat, smoke and wind special effects. Throw fire balls, shock waves, ice and lightning at the bad guys. The ride seats four. We loved it!

Tips for Special Needs or Disability at Great Wolf Lodge SoCal #GWLSoCal #GreatWolfLodge

Written by Lucy K.

Growing up, I remember summer vacation as being the one time during the year when my parents would take my brother and I on long road trips. We would go up and down the California Coast, and on occasion, go out of state to places like the Grand Canyon. Now that I have two young children of my own, I am grateful that there are so many vacation destinations located right in my own back yard.

Orange County is the home to various theme parks and resorts that offer families the convenience of a fun and relaxing getaway without the added stress of travel. This past Memorial Day weekend, my husband and I had the opportunity to staycation with our children at the recently opened Great Wolf Lodge (the indoor water attraction) located in Garden Grove, California. For most families, navigating such a resort can be a fun and adventurous experience; however, for families like mine, having a child with special needs means that our satisfaction depends largely on the accommodations put into place by the resort to make disability access a pleasant and enjoyable experience for our son. I can't speak on behalf of all guests with special needs since each person has unique needs, but I can share some tips and suggestions that I feel could have helped my son, who has autism, apraxia of speech, and sensory integration issues.

Special Discount Code @RagingWatersLA | #RWLALiveForSummer #RagingWatersLA

Raging Waters Los Angeles, California's largest waterpark, has over 49 attractions set in 50 acres. With various tubes, slides, waves, and even Kiddie attractions on all levels, there's something for everyone! My personal favorite is the lazy river. Here are two must see attractions:
  • HIGH EXTREME: Go down a 600 foot long flume head first on mats up to 35 miles per hour.
  • AQUA ROCKET: California’s first and only hydro-magnetic water coaster that propels four-person rafts uphill to speeds exceeding 30 mph.
