Inside Northgate González Markets' New Anaheim Latino Superstore! #NorthgateMarket AD

Post sponsored by Gigasavvy. All opinions are my own.

Northgate González Markets, the one-stop-shop Latino supermarket, celebrates their 36th anniversary with a brand new store in Anaheim and it is Grandioso!  It has everything from leading Hispanic and traditional brands, specialty products, and your every day needs. I don't recall ever shopping at a Northgate so I can't tell you if they're all the same, but I was extremely impressed how nice this new store is. It is large, modern, and the selections are wonderful! It has an assortment of produce, bakery, marinated meats, seafood, Mexican cheeses, salsa and ceviche bar, a tortilleria, hot foods, hot tamales, a juice bar, Grab-and-Go's and more. They have it all!

Their in-store Tortilleria Department has over 50 varieties of tortillas, chips, and masas made by hand. WOW! I am in love with their Ceviche Bar and wanted to taste them all. There were at least 12 varieties plus a make-your-own. I also love their fresh Juice Bar. They make this Green Juice with spinach, kale, celery, cucumber, pineapple, and apples. It is their best seller and I am going back for another one!

Rockin Jump Orange County Ticket Giveaway! #LetsPlayOC

Do your kids need to burn off energy? I like to keep mine moving or they will watch TV or play games all summer. Arranging play dates is the way to go, because it makes it harder to get out of. (I feel more committed when it's on my calendar.) One of our favorite indoor trampoline places in Orange County is Rockin' Jump in Santa Ana. It is one of the newer ones, and it doesn't have that overwhelming stinky smell. Part of it is because they make everyone buy their socks (no exceptions).

TICKET GIVEAWAY >> Cick here to enter for a chance to win a Family 4-Pack of 1 hour jumps at Rockin' Jump Orange County!

Segerstrom Center: THE SOUND OF MUSIC Review by Kyla #scfta

Post written by Kyla Armstrong. Kyla attended a media preview.

Segerstrom Hall is definitely alive with THE SOUND OF MUSIC! This beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein musical did not disappoint and I appreciated the opportunity to discuss the backstory and climate in which The Sound of Music takes place with my daughter. It was so fun to see this musical through her eyes and the anticipation of what would happen in all the story lines. What would happen with Rolf and Liesel?  Will Captain von Trapp really marry Frau Schraeder? What will happen to the family now that the Nazis have invaded Austria? Her excitement and the the suspense of the story was palpable as she sat on the edge of her seat or snuggled into my shoulder during the tense parts.
