Oh yes! and what about when people don't label their drink beverage so no one knows who it belongs to so they let it go to waste. Ugh!

Gah!! I just left a long comment, but since I wasn't logged in to my account, it didn't let me leave it.. Let's try this again...

Recycling is great, but try REDUCING! I cringe when I see people drink bottled water (use plastic cups, paper plates, paper towels, etc.) at home. Get a water filter - CA tap water isn't so bad.

REDUCING: Use reusable bags; don't grab a bag if you can easily carry your purchased item; wash and reuse those plastic veggie bags or get reusable ones; use reusable/washable cloth napkins (they're sturdier and feel better when wiping your mouth and can also be used as handkerchiefs at home); taking a drink from home? Use a reusable container vs. buying individual boxed/bottled drinks (it's also more economical); and I can go on and on. ;P

We're fortunate to have a ton of recycling bins in the garage of our new building!! So recycling is very easy! ..now I just have to teach our guests that our recycling (cardboard) box is underneath our kitchen sink. ;D
