2015-2016 International Dance Series Schedule at Segerstrom Center #SCFTA

The 30th International Dance Series schedule for 2015-2016 at Segerstrom Center for the Arts has been announced, and they’re bringing beautiful dance from around the world including: Mariinsky Ballet, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Royal Swedish Ballet. (Many of which are exclusive West Coast Premieres.) This Christmas, we’re also getting the West Coast Premiere of American Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker, choreographed by Alexei Ratmansky!

Raymonda: (September 24 – 27, 2015) Exclusive West Coast Engagement. “West Coast Premiere of rarely performed classical masterpiece.”

American Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker: (December 10 – 20, 2015) Exclusive West Coast Engagement. “West Coast Premiere of new production launches holiday season.”

Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo’s Choré: (February 11 – 13, 2016) Exclusive West Coast Engagement. “American Premiere of romantic tribute to the Golden Age of Hollywood Musicals.”

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s Repertory Program: (April 6 – 10, 2016) Exclusive Southern California Engagement. “Showcases new works and company classics.”

Royal Swedish Ballet • Juliet & Romeo: (June 10 – 12, 2016) Exclusive West Coast Engagement. “West Coast Premiere of powerful new telling of World’s most famous Love Story.”

We just love the art of dance, and can’t wait for the new season to begin!
