We're always on our feet. Do you ever wonder if your shoes fit properly, or better yet, does your feet hurt at the end of the day? Well, most recently Endurance House invited me to personalize my movement profile and come in for a fitting. The Personalized Movement Profile™ takes customers through five custom phases to determine the best fit for equipment needs (Consult, Move, Learn, Fit, and Test Drive).

CONSULT: I'm not that athletic, but I really need to be healthier to take care of my family. Jeff at Endurance House took me over to find out what I needed whether it be for running, walking, a marathon, or just trying to get back to the swing of things. It was a casual conversation about my lifestyle. Jeff made me feel really comfortable and inspired me to try walking 2-3 times a week to jump start my health, but he also made me realize that a light jog might be better for me than sprinting. Basically the idea is if I do it enough, it will become a habit and will become a part of my lifestyle.

MOVE and LEARN: He then had me put on these soft tester shoes for a 10 second walk on the treadmill. Although short, it was all we needed to analyze where my feet hit the pavement and indicated where I needed support. I never noticed that I walk with my feet at an angle and walk on the inner balls of my feet first.

TEST DRIVE: After I decided on my shoe, I jumped on the treadmill again. We did another 10 second video to see if it was exactly what I've been missing, and it fit perfectly!

I have since taken my shoes out to amusement parks or whenever I know I'm going to do a lot of walking, and after hours and hours of walking, they did NOT hurt! YAY! I found a shoe that is made for me! Thanks so much, Jeff, and the Endurance House Team for providing a wonderful experience. The whole process which took about 45 minutes from start to finish was painless.

RECOVERY SLIPPERS!
One last thing, have you heard of OOFOS? They are recovery slippers that absorb more shock than traditional foams, and it reduces stress on you feet and knees. They have them there! I got a pair to try and my husband claimed them!
