Peking, today known as Beijing, is the capital of the People’s Republic of China. The city contains rich cultural history and heritage spanning over 1,000 years which includes the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven. Acrobatic art, Chinese circus, and Peking Opera are cultural treasures that are beloved by the people of Peking. Peking Dreams, performed by Beijing's National Circus and Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China, will incorporate these elements (acrobatics, Chinese circus, and Peking Opera).
