Family Movie Night: Kung Fu Panda 3 + Blu-ray/DVD Giveaway! #PandaNightIn #PandaInsiders

We don't do Family Movie Nights as often as we should, but it's always fun and easy to do. I like that we can catch up on movies we missed in the theater in the comfort of our homes, but it's also a great way to revisit films that we already love. This weekend, we celebrated the Blu-ray/DVD release of Kung Fu Panda 3. In the third movie, lovable Po has to defeat a supernatural villain, Kai, but to do so, he has to learn how to be a true master of chi. Po reunites with his birth-dad who takes him back to a Secret Panda Village where he has to rediscover what it's like to be a Panda.

If you're a fan of Kung Fu Panda movies, you will not be disappointed. Jack Black as Po is hilarious as usual, and I love all the catchy lines like "Sometimes we do the wrong things for the right reasons," and "I can't teach you how to be like me, because there is only one me. I need to teach you to be you." This heartwarming film is not only funny, it celebrates being different. We loved it!

Movie Kit 

As a FHEInsider, we received a Blu-ray copy  and a party kit which included plushies, a dim sum kit, chopsticks, cups, and place mats. The only thing missing was the food which I was able to pick up locally. You can also serve noodles, steamed dumplings, or steamed bao buns. My kids love the Hong Kong Egg Custard Tarts which worked perfectly with the theme.

Kung Fu Panda 3 is rated PG and features the voice talents of Jack Black as Po, Bryan Cranston as Li, Dustin Hoffman as Master Shifu, Angelina Jolie as Tigress, J.K. Simmons as Kai, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Seth Rogen as Mantis, Lucy Liu as Viper, David Cross as Crane, Kate Hudson as Mei Mei, and James Hong as Mr. Ping. The Blu-ray has bonus features like 2 new Kung Fu Panda animated shorts, "Everybody Loves a Panda Party" Karaoke with Po, Make a Panda Party Paper Pal, and the Origin of Skadoosh and more!
