Tasty STACKED #CheersWellBuilt Summer Cocktails + Giveaway! #LetsPlayOC

I hope you are all enjoying your summer so far. It is going to be hot these next few days so I'm going to look for ways to stay cool and find shade. Over the weekend, I went to a menu tasting at STACKED: Food Well Built in Huntington Beach. They have this nice open patio area - it makes you feel like you're both inside and outside. I can imagine it being really nice in the evening with friends enjoying a summer cocktails.

At STACKED, the menu is fully customizable. You're ordering from a touchscreen iPad on your table, it lists all the ingredients and you can either substitute an ingredient, move it to the side or remove it completely before sending it to the kitchen.  You know how sometimes your entree will come out too early? I like that you can send the order at your own pace. Maybe you need a few minutes in between your appetizer and entree or entree and dessert. As you're removing your items, you'll notice the price will adjust too.

I recommend sending in your drink orders as soon as possible followed by the children's meals because they don't like to wait. They have options like Kids' Mini Burgers which comes with baby carrots, french fries, ranch and ketchup (everything is served on the side), Mini Cheeseburgers, Cheese Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, Chicken Tenders, Grilled Cheese, and Kraft Mac N Cheese.





Need something to share? At STACKED, you can order a fries combo and select from a variety of dipping sauces. (I counted about 15.) Pictured above is their Parmesan Fries and their Gluten Free Homemade Potato Chips. Lately, I like to add a fresh salad or fruit along side with my entree. One of the featured item in July is their Red, White, and Blue Salad. It has a nice blend of fresh berries and greens (blueberries, strawberries, spinach, feta cheese, and candied pecans). I liked it!

After a long day in the sun, Darren's niece and I had fun tasting some of their new summer cocktails. Pictured below is their Summer Splash and their Tropical Mojito. CHEERS!

Our Favorites

My favorite thing on their menu is their braised Short Rib Sandwich. Darren likes their Wake Up Call Burger with a fried egg. (We put the chips on the side and switched out the bun to a brioche bun.) And you really can't go wrong with the their Lobster Mac N Cheese. (Sometimes I like to take out the tomatoes).

Desserts

If you saved room for dessert and you like cake in your shake, their Birthday Cake Shake is still available until they run out of cake. Another favorite on the menu is their Peanut Butter Heaven dessert with Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. Both are De-Licious!
