Sneak Preview of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood @ Pretend City!

We previewed Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood this weekend at Pretend City. This highly anticipated new show airing this Fall on PBS KIDS is extremely cute.

I can't get this song out of my head:
"When something seems bad, turn it around, and find something good."
-Daniel Tiger

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood
premieres
Labor Day Monday, September 3, 2012
on PBS KIDS

I like that it teaches emotions and what to do when you feel sad. The first episode was about Daniel's Birthday and the second was about having a picnic. Things don't always go smoothly but they were always able to find the positives out of it. I'm setting my DVR so we can watch it over and over again!

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood is own by The Fred Roger's Company and is inspired by the award-winning Mister Rogers' Neighborhood!

EXPLORING PRETEND CITY

After the preview, we explored Pretend City. There is so much to see and do here! With lots of room to drive around (ride-ons were plenty), you can stop to fill up and check your tires. My kids loved it!

We harvested fruit and vegetables.

I love the Ralphs Grocery Store!

The Marina is always a huge hit!
We love that they supply raincoats and boots. They really think of everything here.

One of the most favorite things my husband loves to do with the boys is build train tracks. Check out this huge mat!

If you are looking for hours and hours of fun, you won't be disappointed here at Pretend City Children's Museum.

  1. We love Pretend City. Everything is just the right size for our toddlers. They don't feel overwhelmed by seeing and doing too much there.
