We had the pleasure of visiting LEGOLAND California last week for the first time to preview the brand new addition to the water park, Legends of CHIMA Water Park. As we entered the water park area, we walked past the existing portion and onto the new CHIMA area. I have to admit, we were a little put off by the overcast weather we were given for this exciting day. However, when we arrived, we were all pleasantly surprised to find that they heated the water to 80 degrees! (This is all the time, not just when it is overcast!!)  The water was the perfect temperature!

Last weekend we were invited to experience a staycation at Knott's Hotel. The hotel is literally down the street from us so why were we excited to be a part of this? EASY. Two parks in two days, water slides, boysenberry, and tuck-in service from Snoopy!

On Mother's Day this year, we took our boys to Discovery Science Center to meet a life-sized Baby T-Rex from Walking With Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular. While we waited for the presentation to begin, the kids enjoyed running around the Prehistoric Plaza located toward the back of the center where they explored fossil digs.

Movie Review: Disney's Million Dollar Arm | #MillionDollarArm

A few weeks ago my brother, Jorge, and I got the chance to attend to a pre-screening of Disney’s new movie, Million Dollar Arm. We were all excited to see Jon Hamm as we are big fans of his for his performance on Mad Men. We had a great time!

I must confess that I get very emotional when I watch movies, and this was not the exception. I went from laughing out loud to being excited, anxious and shedding some tears of sadness, and later, tears of joy.

This is such a great family film that I would totally recommend it. It targets both kids and adults. And if you have any kids who like baseball, softball, or cricket, (yes, cricket), they will totally enjoy this movie. It has amazing scenery of India and LA. We really enjoyed the music (so much fun) and the characters were hilarious!

Last week, we were excited to take the family to see Circus Vargas in The Big Top at Main Place Mall in Santa Ana. You can't miss it. Their tent can be seen from the freeways. Here's a hot tip: arrive early for the best seating (it's open seating)! PLUS 30 minutes before the show, kids are invited into the center for pre-show activities like hula hooping, scarves catching, and balancing tricks.
