On Saturday, April 26th, Brea Mall invited the public to come and celebrate their newly renovated Food Court with a "Taste of Brea Mall" from 12 pm - 2 pm.  We got there right before noon and the line was already forming. The first 200 people who registered at the event with their e-mail received a swag bag of goodies.

It was truly a unique experience. Shoppers received punch cards to sample Brea Mall’s selection of dining options such as:

• Auntie Anne's
• Cinnabon
• Panda Express
• Taco Bell
• Hot Dog on a Stick 
• Starbucks
• Godiva
• Mrs. Fields
• Potato Corner
• Oka-Sun
• Charley's Subs
• Jamba Juice, and
• Wetzel's Pretzels/Coldstone's.

If you returned the cards after visiting at least 6, you could enter to win gift cards from various food retailers.

How can anyone say No to this Starbucks caramel frapp sample? 

By the way, Hot Dog on the Stick has a seasonal strawberry lemonade that you must try. It's refreshing!

After sampling all the tasty options, we ordered a long-time favorite from Charlie's Sub. 

The event also launched Brea Mall’s Surprise and Delight program, in which mall management will greet and reward shoppers with surprise treats and goodies.

Here is the list of eateries inside the mall again: Auntie Anne’s, Charley's Grilled Subs, Chipotle, Cinnabon, Cold Stone Creamery, Garden Gourmet, Hot Dog on a Stick, Jamba Juice, Kelley’s Kookies, Mrs. Fields, Oka-San Teppanyaki, Panda Express, Sbarro, Starbucks, Surf City Squeeze Smoothies, Taco Bell, and Wetzel's Pretzels.

Dining options outside the Mall are The Cheesecake Factory, BJ's, Kula Sushi, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Red Robin and California Pizza Kitchen.
