Last week, we were excited to take the family to see Circus Vargas in The Big Top at Main Place Mall in Santa Ana. You can't miss it. Their tent can be seen from the freeways. Here's a hot tip: arrive early for the best seating (it's open seating)! PLUS 30 minutes before the show, kids are invited into the center for pre-show activities like hula hooping, scarves catching, and balancing tricks.
They don't call it a circus family for nothing. These guys are great together.
The show is interactive! There's a pee-wee clown-like guy that is really interactive with the audience. My kids enjoyed watching him, and he had us laughing.
The acrobatic performer seen below was not only pretty, she was really strong. She was spinning on the pole in perfect formation. WOW. She was smiling all the way and made it seem easy. We see her later in other acts as well.
The juggler had our full attention.
The trapeze performance made us really nervous, but thank goodness they had safety nets.
Watching these guys in aerial dancing was a form of art. They are super strong!
There were several other thrilling performances that night. We were easily amazed!
The Circus Vargas MagiKaria Extreme is fun for both children and adults. They not only had us on the edge of our seats, but they were also very comical which had our boys asking to see them again the next day. The Big Top is not super big so it's impossible to have bad seats. You'll want to hurry if you want to catch them in OC! (They're now at the Irvine Spectrum.)
