If you're looking for something fun and festive to do this week, yesterday marked the start of Newport Harbor's nightly Christmas Boat Parades. Now thru December 23rd, you can join the parade three times a night with one of many of Newport Landing's Holiday Cruise Boats wherever the parade is in the harbor.
Last weekend, we got a preview of what the route would look like for the Christmas Boat Parade on Newport Landing's Holiday Cruise.
The cruise ran about 75 minutes long with plenty of time to enjoy the views, grab hot chocolate, and relax in the galley all the while listening to festive Christmas tunes.
Have you attended a boat parade before? We've attended a boat parade in the past from the sidelines and can image how much more fun it will be on the boats and being in the parade. Boat owners take much pride in their boats. Homeowners are not far behind wanting to be the best in the harbor. You will be amazed.

Holiday Cruises will continue to run after the Christmas Boat Parades are over.December 24 thru December 31st
You might want to know:
- Weather is unpredictable. It was really cold and rainy the day we went and we were so glad we had our hooded winter coats on.
- Come early. You might want to arrive at least an hour before departure to allow time to find parking and find the right line to get in because they have two ports. Lines can get really long.
- Parking is FREE after 6pm.
- Discounts can be found on GoldStar.com.
- Refreshments can be purchased in the galley.
- Newport Landing also have Whale Watching excursions (check back next month for a fun giveaway).
