Life Lessons in Disney PIXAR's Monsters Univeristy #MonstersU #Printables

Last week we previewed Disney•PIXAR’s “Monsters University”. I'm not going to spoil it for you, but I must say - we loved it!

It was not only vibrantly colorful and beautifully animated, it had some life-lessons we might have forgotten:

• Being popular or being born privileged doesn't mean you're going to graduate. You'll need to study and make good grades!
• You make life long friends in college - Network!
• Sometimes you have to work hard from the bottom up - That's life!
• Never give up on your life dream. Where there's a will, there's a way!
• Don't let negativity get you down.
• When you lift your team members up, you'll succeed as a Team.
• Haters will always hate, but you can prove them wrong by succeeding.

STORY LINE

Mike Wazowski’s (voice of Billy Crystal) lifelong dreams of becoming a Scarer are derailed during his first semester at Monsters University when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, “Sulley” (voice of John Goodman), and their out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program.

Did you know Mike and Sulley weren't always friends? They have some funny "college" moments like figuring out what clubs to rush for and the challenges of being a freshman on campus. This brings back so many memories for me.


FAVORITE LINES (as best as I can remember):

• "We scare because we care."
• "They may forget me when I lose, but they will never let you forget it if YOU lose."
