We're big comic book fans here and have been following The X-Men for some time. Nowadays, it's not so easy to get to the theaters with small children no matter how much we want to so... waiting for them to come out in DVD is the way to go. Finding them in Blu-ray is even better! The quality is just AMAZING!
This movie takes Wolverine back to Japan to visit a dying man (someone he saved) to say good-bye. He makes a friend, struggles with this fears, and yes, there is a love interest. Samurai sword fights to me is always an art.
The fighting scene on top of the bullet train - WHOA, that was nuts! It will have you glued to the screen and maybe have you rewind to watch it again.
NOTE: We saw the scene in both Blu-ray and DVD format and the results are indescribable! You see more details, fine lines, and they just look sharp. After seeing it in Blu-ray everything else looks blurry.
You can watch The Wolverine movie trailer here (the train scene is toward the end):
The Wolverine is Rated PG-13 and is out in Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD!
We love that we can now add The Wolverine to our collection so we can watch it over and over again! Here are my husband's reactions:
"Wolverine at his best."
"Razor-sharp action."
