DINING: Celebrating American Chocolate Week @WoodRanch

It's American Chocolate Week, and Wood Ranch had some unique chocolate items that we wanted to try like this Godiva Chocolate Martini.

There's no chocolate in these warm garlic dinner rolls, but we thoroughly enjoyed them while we waited for our dinner to arrive.

My husband ordered their Brisket Burger which included 50% brisket and 50% hamburger. Oh yes, and it came with a side of Chocolate-Chili BBQ sauce.

The Chocolate-Chili BBQ sauce is pretty amazing. (Note: they made it especially for this week! The sauce contains Guittard 72% dark chocolate, a combination of chilis, cumin, coriander and other spices, along with tomato, onion, garlic, and key ingredients.) We liked that they kept it on the side so we can control how much we wanted on our meats.

I ordered the All-American Baby Back Ribs and Texas-Style Brisket for my Wood Ranch BBQ 2-Item Combo with dipping sauces like the Habanero Peach BBQ Sauce and their Chocolate-Chili BBQ sauce. (Also available, Chipotle Cherry BBQ Sauce.)

ON THE KIDS MENU

My kids enjoyed their BBQ Tri Tip Sandwiches and all white Chicken Tenders with a side of Lauren's favorite Mac and Cheese. (TIP: must try their Mac and Cheese!) 

DESSERT

This week, they're also featuring a new Black & White Chocolate Cheesecake. OMG - DELICIOUS!!  (It includes Guittard 72% dark chocolate, an Oreo cookie crust, topped with whipped cream, Guittard shavings, and a Guittard chocolate coin.)

Wood Ranch's Godiva Chocolate Martini Recipe

1.25 oz. Godiva Dark
1.25 oz. Crème de Cacao Dark
½ oz. Well Vodka
½ oz. Baileys
½ oz Vanilla IO Base. 

Shake 25 times.
Swirl Chocolate Syrup in the glass before the drink is poured in.
