RECYCLING EXHIBIT NOW OPEN! New at Pretend City Children's Museum is the Ultimate Recycling Machine!
"This large scale hands-on experience geared towards school-aged children combines engineering, collaboration, and sustainability."
Both adults and children will be challenged to design and build “the Ultimate Recycling Invention” using materials such as tubes, zip lines, pulleys, pendulums, and more! The Ultimate Recycling Machine is designed to encourage creativity and teamwork.
* Exhibit open Monday-Friday; subject to closure due to staffing needs or wait times during busy days.
Grown-up Tip:
- Next time before you throw something away, stop to think if they can be re-purposed. For more ideas, please visit Trash for Teaching for more ways to recycle your trash. (T4T rescues clean, safe, inspiring items that local businesses
discard in abundance, and make them available to teachers, after school
providers, non-profits and individuals.)
