Highlights of EEK! At The Greek! 2014

The Halloween season has ended, but I just have to tell you about my new favorite thing to do in Los Angeles. If you are in the So Cal area around this time, it is a definite must. On October 25, 2014, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles presented EEK! At The Greek! It is such a great experience for the whole family and we can't wait to go back again next year.

We love being greeted by a fun pumpkin patch. The activities in the "Trick or Treat Village" are family-friendly and included in your ticket purchase so once you get in, you get to take advantage of all of the fun. Some of the activities in the village include: cupcake decorating (and eating), ring toss, face painting, balloon animals, crafts, music, and lots of trick or treating.

At EEK!, kids of all ages can participate in the costume contest. This year we watched the cutest and scariest kids take the stage and strut their stuff for applause. The winners of each age category were also invited on stage at the concerts intermission later in the evening for a final round of applause.

The concert was the cherry on top of a fun filled evening. The younger kids didn't know what to expect from the concert, and I think they were pleasantly surprised. I know my kids have not yet been introduced to a symphony and live music like this before. But I am so glad that because of Eek! At The Greek!, they now know and understand the beauty behind this type of music.

EEK! At The Greek was held at The Greek Theatre located in Griffith Park at 2700 North Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles, California. For more information, please visit their website at www.greektheatrela.com.
