A couple of weeks ago, my family and I were invited to a special OC Fair's 125th Anniversary Party. We enjoyed brunch, visits with Fair icons, and entertainment from Russell Bros Circus, Magic of Frank Thurston, and Prehistoric Pets of The Reptile Zoo. It was fun for the whole family. The children learned new magic tricks, watched juggling, and were all hands on when they stretched out a 120 lb snake. It was incredible!
New this year at the OC Fair is the Ice Museum. The line is a bit long, but the wait is so worth it. We didn't last very long in there, because it's freeeezing, but it was a nice way to cool off at the Fair. Enjoy ice sculpture masterpieces and a colorful walk-thru. Free with fair admissions.
We could spend the whole day at the Fair just watching performances, enjoying exotic fair food, visiting animals, and playing carnival games. Haven't gone yet? SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS
- Rise & Shine/Early Admission Discount, 10 am – 11 am: $3 general admission for everyone. Discounted tickets are sold until 11 am and must use by Noon on the day of purchase.
- FREE Off-Site Parking (Weekends Only): Free parking and shuttle service is available from the Experian parking structure located off the Bristol Street exit of the 405 Freeway. Follow the signs to “Experian.” The shuttle operates from 10 am-1 am Saturday & Sunday only.
WEDNESDAY
- School Supply Drive – August 12, Noon-3 pm: FREE admission with donation of NEW school supplies valued at $5 or more. Accepted items are pens, pencils, crayons, notebooks, notebook paper and school backpacks. Receipt Required.
THURSDAY, August 6 & 13, 2015:
- ONE BIG DISCOUNT, Noon - 3pm: (NEW) $3 general admission, $2 rides and games, $2 taste of fair food, and $5 ice skating.
- KIDS DAY, all day: Kids under 12 gets in free all day Thursdays!
FRIDAY
- SENIORS DAY (60+), all day: $2 discount on Senior admission plus FREE Ferris wheel and merry-go-round rides.
- $2 Taste of Fair Food, Noon - 4pm: $2 samples of select Fair treats. Click here for the $2 Taste of Fair Food List.
- $2 Rides and $2 Games, Noon - 4pm: Rides and games $2 each in the Main Carnival and Kiddie Carnival.
