Looking for an underwater adventure on Catalina Island? Check out Nautilus Semi-Submarine! Once we got to Catalina Island, we looked over and spotted a yellow submarine – The Nautilus. We couldn’t wait to explore what was in the beautiful clear waters of Avalon.

TIP: If you have small children, you might want to talk it up beforehand as much as possible so they are mentally prepared, after all, it’s a 45 minute tour. Some examples,
- Hey look over there – can you find the yellow submarine?
- We’re going to see fish down there.
- Do you think we’ll see Nemo?
(I think you get the point.)
Checking-in…
We walked across this Green Pier. You can’t miss it, because it’s the only one there.
TIP: There are no restrooms on board and keep in mind it’s a 45 minute tour. Public restrooms can be found at the beginning of the pier on the right hand side.

Inside The Nautilus… people are anxiously awaiting to see what’s in the waters.
Once inside, my kids are completely fascinated. What fish will we see? Where are the orange fish we keep seeing?

You can purchase them for $1.50 per shot or 16 shots for $20 (savings of $4). We had two windows so were able to split the shots up 8 and 8.
This was an added bonus for the kids that I didn’t expect – Fun!!
