Highlights for CHILL @TheQueenMary PLUS a Giveaway! #QueenMaryCHILL

Last week we attended a media preview of The Queen Mary's CHILL right before it opened to the public. This is their second annual year in SoCal, and we could not wait! Exploring the ice sculptures in THE ICE KINGDOM is one of our favorite holiday experiences! Here are some highlights below...

When we arrived, we walked through a magical Candy Lane with giant candy canes, snowmen, gum drops, and lollipops. It instantly felt like Christmas time.

You can't miss Frosty's Funland because of the huge snowman bouncy house.

Here I'm hanging out with Santa's Helpers. They are too adorb!

Also in Frosty's Funland is a Bucking Reindeer.

If you spot a Giant Rocking Horse, you'll know you're in Holiday Village. There's also a stage for live performances.

I found Mr. and Mrs. Claus with elves in Claus Cabin in Holiday Village.
Great photo op!

How's Ice Skating with The Queen Mary for a back drop? Breathtaking.

This Giant Snow Globe is a hit!
If you're feeling hungry, there are quite a few things available for purchase like a large slice of pizza, ginormous hot dog, grilled chicken kabobs, or several other items. If you need a snack, you will find funnel cake, candied apples, gelato, and gourmet popcorn, OH MY!  We spent the first hour just stuffing our faces!

Once inside the dome, you'll have to decide if you want to visit THE ICE KINGDOM or go ice tubing at the Glacier Glide.

That's me in line for Ice Tubing.

Want to know if it's for you? Check out this short video...

And now our most favorite part of the entire visit... THE ICE KINGDOM!

With 9 degree temperatures, you can only imagine how cold it gets in there. Luckily, they provide these blue parkas in different sizes, however, everyone still complains it's too cold. Here's my tip for you, pack gloves and dress in thick layers. Last year I wore my snowboarding pants and my husband wore jeans. He rushed through the whole thing while I comfortably stayed behind to take pictures.

This year's theme is The Nutcracker. Remember when the mice were fighting with the nutcracker? Aren't these works of art just amazing??

Meet the Ice Queen and her castle.

Watch this short video to see some sculpting in action.

After you exit THE ICE KINGDOM, you'll want to stop by their Gift Shop for Christmas inspiration. I love all the unique ornaments. There's also a cafe if you want to warm up with a hot beverage.

We had a wonderful experience and thought it was even better than last year (and we really enjoyed it last year!). If you're looking to get in the holiday spirit in sunny SoCal with your family or for a romantic night out, you'll have to check out the festivities at The Queen Mary's CHILL.
