BBQ Heaven at Wood Ranch | #Review @IrvineSpectrum @WoodRanch #WoodRanchBBQ

Not too long ago, we were invited to Wood Ranch at the Irvine Spectrum for a Mom's Night Out to sample their menu. A night out with the ladies and BBQ?  Of course, I said, YES!!

Prepare to DROOL...


APPETIZERS 

One of the first things that came out was their Half & Half shredded onions and sweet potato fries - SO GOOD!

Feast your eyes on these mini-Pork Sliders, because we ate them all. 

I was enjoying this Tuscan Kale Salad. It came with watermelon radishes, tri-color cauliflower, carrots, toasted pumpkin seeds, shaved parmesan, and balsamic. 

Even the dinner rolls were delicious! More please!

MAIN ENTREES

We knew we were in for some serious good eats when a GIANT Short Rib entered the room.

These are not pictured, but we also tried Tri Tip, All American Baby Back Ribs, St. Louis Ribs, BBQ Half Chicken, Texas-Style Brisket and more! Pictured below is their Brisket Burger.

BONUS: Special Dinner Guest that night was Director of Culinary Development, Alex Benes. Chef is also a partner at Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill and the creative mind behind some of the classic barbecue masterpieces served at Wood Ranch. It was fun to listen to Chef sharing some of his BBQ techniques and tips over dinner. It really doesn't get any better than that! He also showed us one of his favorite marinating tools - an injector!

Chef's injector came with a special traveling case and everything. It was NO JOKE!

SIGNATURE SIDE DISHES 

Below is their Smashed Sweet Potatoes (yummm) and their fiery Green Beans. Not pictured was Lauren's Favorite Mac & Cheese - something we all fought over! 

DESSERTS

We sampled all these desserts and more: Seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake, Warm Flourless Chocolate Cake, Cheesecake with raspberry sauce and fresh berries, and Deep-Dish Cobbler. YES PLEASE!

The Cocktail of the Night was this mouthwatering Rasberry Ranch Lemonade. 

Dinner is always fun with friends.
