Billy Beez Anaheim Garden Walk

Recently our family had the opportunity to host our son's 7th birthday party at Billy Beez in Anaheim. Billy Beez is a fairly new venue located in the Anaheim Garden Walk plaza, offering 17,000 square feet of slides, obstacle courses, and more for all ages. Our two kids (5 and 7) love it here as there is so much to do, and parents can join in the fun as well!

We have been back here several times since Mary told us to check it out as a possible location for a birthday party. The kids are hooked! On our first visit, we were greeted by a friendly staff member that helped us understand the pricing and rules. The basic rules are that socks are required, and NO GUM ALLOWED! Once paid, they provide you with a bracelet and you're in! There are two separate areas containing tables and chairs, a small concession area, open racks for shoes and belongings, and benches throughout for those that just want to watch our kids have a blast.

One of the nice features about this place is that the obstacles (which is a mix of plastic crawl tubes and foam or rope bridges) are big enough even for adults to maneuver through. This is especially nice for smaller kids that need extra support or encouragement since Mom and Dad can be right there with them as they make their way around. Guests can make their way up the obstacle course through various stairs and crawl spaces, and there are some really neat slides (both open and tubular) to get down. Our kids especially enjoyed the row of multi-colored slides located towards the back of the facility. I think my son went up down these slides non-stop for at least 30 minutes!

For the tinier kiddos, there is a separate toddler play area offering various foam obstacles, a foam “Tarzan” zipline, a small slide, and a really cool "pool" that kids can enjoy without getting wet. There is also "Honeycomb Village" which is a small town where kids can pretend to go grocery shopping, visit the doctor, make a pizza, visit the bank, and more. It looks just like a small neighborhood. The village is nicely equipped with lots of pretend play toys, which the staff tirelessly tries to keep organized throughout the day.

In addition to the mammoth obstacle course and toddler play areas, there is a "ballroom" where kids can play with hundreds of soft, foam balls. There is a ball blowing machine in the center of the room, and a second level where kids can load balls into individual ball shooting machines. Also, located in the back of the facility is a small sports court, equipped with foam balls and scoreboard for guests that want to have quick pickup game of soccer or basketball.

For our son's birthday party, we were able to reserve a large private suite which was nicely set up by the Billy Beez staff and party organizer. We had requested a Star Wars theme, and they were able to provide Star Wars decorations, table settings, and even light-sabre napkins! The party organizer was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the planning, and the staff did an excellent job of making sure each guest was taken care of and happy. Overall, I would highly recommend bringing the family to play, and be prepared for a day of fun! We love it there!
