Patio and Garden Dining with Kids @SideDoorCDM, Corona Del Mar | #ToddlerTuesday

Last week we were invited to a fabulous dinner at SideDoor in Corona Del Mar for Toddler Tuesday. It is usually very stressful dining with small children, because we're rushing through dinner and hoping we don't disturb other diners. Wouldn't it be nice to enjoy fine dining and not feel judged? Well, SideDoor (located next door to Five Crowns) wants us to eat out again, because on Tuesday evenings, they reserved the whole patio and garden area for families!

On Tuesdays after 4:30 pm, stop by and tell the hostess you're there for "Toddler Tuesday." You don't need a reservation as walk-ins are welcome. Come as you are, because it's casual dining. You're in for a delicious dinner with fine food and drinks PLUS Kid's Meals are $5!  Children can choose chicken fingers with french fries, grilled cheese sandwich with celery sticks, pasta, or hot dog with chips (beverage included).

 

On the adult menu, I ordered their infamous Prime Rib Plate (of course) and from their wine menu. It was so good.

My husband has a new favorite sandwich! Their Steak & Egg Sandwich comes with mozzarella and red pepper chimichurri.

Oh and you'll want to save room for dessert. We savored every bite of their delectable desserts: cheesecake, CC Brown's Fudge Sundae, and warm Lemon Steam Cake. Our favorite was the cheesecake, but they're all so good, you won't be disappointed.

Dining out in the patio and garden was a refreshing experience especially on a beautiful day such as today.  The food was excellent, the staff was super helpful, and we now have a new favorite place to dine as a family. In the summer, we will definitely stop by after a day at the beach or to have dinner before we catch a beach sunset.
