Last weekend, we took the family to check out what's new at Knott's Berry Farm this summer. One word: SHOWS! There are several new shows at Knott's including a new ice show, new stunts show at Calico Square, and, of course, the new 4-D ride Voyage to Iron Reef!
Blockbuster Beagle performing at the Charles M. Schultz Theatre is classical Hollywood. There's new talent this year as well as veterans. The show is really fun to watch and the skaters are really athletic. Who doesn't love seeing Snoopy on ice? It's also a great way to beat the heat while at the park.
Also new is Vertical Impact which brings high energy, daring stunts on trampolines, wall climbing, BMX, head spinning and aerial dancing to the Calico Square stage. If you stay after the show, you can meet with the cast. After dark, don't miss Vertical Impact: Geared Up!
New ride this summer is the Voyage to Iron Reef in 4-D where you travel underneath The Boardwalk in a submarine and use lasers to fend off creatures trying to take over The Boardwalk.
The ride exits into the arcade where we played 10 minute laser tags with our friends. Somehow the children always found me. (Could it be because of our bright florescent yellow guns)? Everyone could always hear where we were, because the children were laughing as they were running. The 10 minutes for me seemed long enough, and we all had a great time. I think it's only $7 per person.
Knott's Berry Farm is located at 8039 Beach Blvd. in Buena Park, CA. For more information, please visit their website at www.knotts.com.
