We went to a special screening.
The Island of Lemurs: Madagascar gives us a unique look of the lemurs on the beautiful island of Madagascar in IMAX 3-D. The film tells a story which started over 60 million years ago with a journey of a family of lemurs who were washed out to sea during a storm and drifted onto Madagascar. Lemurs evolved into hundreds of different species - some as large as gorillas!
We like that it's not only educational, it brings awareness to the dangers of forest fires and the need to preserve their natural habitats. This 40 minute film, narrated by Academy Award® winner Morgan Freeman, is rated G and will be exclusively in IMAX theaters nationwide August 22nd!
