Funtopia invited us out to check out their indoor climbing area inside Sender One Climbing. We all had to sign waivers when we arrived. TIP: To save time, fill out the waiver online here. Staff members geared us up with helmets and harnesses, then we all watched a short safety video.
Mine tend to do better when they watch and learn from other children or adults. For example, after seeing their dad climb these steps, my oldest wanted to try it too. He didn't make it all the way up to the top, but that's ok, all he had to do is jump to safely land on the bulls-eye. Another adult controls the speed of his fall.
The smaller children love this one area designed especially for them. They could build blocks, climb them, safely jump from the blocks, or fly and crash into the blocks. Hours of fun!
Funtopia offers a safe climbing environment for all ages, and it was such a great workout! You'll have to check it out for yourself.
