I’m so excited for Halloween this year as there are many spooky opportunities to spend with friends. I mean, sharing screaming memories and finding out who is the bravest - you will sure to bond and laugh about it later. Can I suggest inviting your most fearless friends?!!! On Thursday, October 2nd, we attended the media preview and opening night of The Queen Mary's Dark Harbor. Before the sunset, we met with petrifying characters that will roam the streets of Dark Harbor.

Be on the lookout for the awesomely scary Dark Harbor Crew. You might even want to take a selfie with them to prove that you were there: The Captain, Graceful Gale, The Ring Master, Scary Mary, Samuel the Savage, Half Hatch Henry and the Voodoo Priestess and many more! Not sure what they will look like? Study the picture below!

Hungry or thirsty? The Monster Midway will be where guests, zombies, food, and entertainment mingle. You might want to stop and eat at the Body Parts BBQ and try the “Killer Kabobs” or the “Flesh in a Bun”.

There are many NEW super creepy attractions this year!!!
  • Soulmate: Graceful Gale was the beauty of The Queen Mary in the 1930’s. As an elegant first class passenger, Gale charmed her way across the ship’s dance floor regularly until one day she mysteriously disappeared in 1939. Those who dare will realize that Gale may not be as graceful as she appeared, but in fact is more monstrous than ever imagined.
  • B340: On a 1948 Atlantic voyage, third class Queen Mary passenger, Samuel, was locked away in room B340 after a violent outburst. After hours of isolation, crew found Samuel in his room, violently ripped apart. This maze is a journey through Samuel the Savage’s walk into insanity. Samuel is on the loose, he’s dangerous and completely out of his mind.
  • Encounters on board the Queen Mary will take a very limited number of thrill seekers on a terrifying top secret paranormal journey through the depths of the ship that have never been open to Dark Harbor guests before. Those who dare to voyage on Encounters will have to sign their life away and hope that they return safely to land. Do you dare?
  • Voodoo Village: With dark magic gypsies that will follow you every step you take a turn into shrunken heads, voodoo dolls and the feared Voodoo Priestess. Scary!!

And of course, they have the classics mazes like: Deadrise, Circus, and Submerged full of creepy and unexpected moments! After roaming through these mazes, all I can say is, “I’m afraid of corners now!” LOL!!!

For all you Michael Jackson fans, you will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to ride on the swings from the Neverland Ranch aka “Sinister Swings”. You might even get to sit next to a zombie. Zombies <3 swings!!

The very popular Freakshow is back, exposing even more freaks than ever before.

Want more? Adventurous guests can chance the Mechanical Monster (mechanical bull). Dark Harbor will feature LED hula hoopers, live musical entertainment, costume contests, and holiday celebrations!!!
