Halloween Family Fun at Knott’s Berry Farm Camp Spooky! #CampSpooky @Knotts

Last weekend we joined the Peanut Gang to celebrate a daytime, non-scary Halloween celebration at Knott's Berry Farm's Camp Spooky! Designed with children ages 3-11 in mind, it was a full day of fun with:

• a very cute Snoopy’s Costume Party and Parade, 
• running through a Mini-Monster Maze, 
• learning how to create witch's brew in the Potion Station*, 
• exploring creepy crawlers at Medusa's Bug Bootique, and
• getting spooked as the Green Witch takes over the Calico Mine Ride in The Witch's Keep in the Calico Mine Ride.

All of these themed-activities were included with regular admissions to the amusement park and it's here every weekend in October and Halloween Day!  Check out our photo gallery!

SNOOPY'S COSTUME PARTY AND PARADE

Don't forget to dress the kids up when you go! Our kids loved parading around Camp Spooky and walking across the Camp Spooky Theatre's stage. The kids are just adorable and some of the hand-made costumes are so creative! (Note: This is also where you can watch Charlie Brown’s new Halloween show where everyone will be singing and dancing in the aisles to all their favorite Halloween tunes.) Our son was so proud as he held his "I participated in Camp Spooky's Costume Contest" ribbon.

MINI MONSTER MAZE

The Mini Monster Maze is located right next to Camp Spooky Theatre. It wasn't scary, but for kids, it has just the right amount of scare factor (exploring the unknown as they turned corners etc.) They get a little treat at the end of the maze. We also loved taking pictures of our kids with the props.

POTION STATION

What will go in your Witch's Brew? Visit the Potion Station located in the Grizzly Creek Lodge. You'll be creating "Friendship Potions" with test tubes and Kool-Aid. (There will be a small fee to participate). 

MEDUSA'S BUG BOOTIQUE

Want more? Look for the Medusa's Bug Bootique where you can touch squirmy worms and other non-scary bugs. Mine wouldn't normally touch them, but these felt safe to handle.

THE WITCH'S KEEP IN THE CALICO MINE RIDE

One of our favorite rides has been transformed for this Halloween season! Look for the The Witch's Keep in the Calico Mine Ride.  The Green Witch has taken over the mine! It's still kid-friendly and not super scary.
