Halloween: Social Media Preview Night @Knotts #ScaryFarm | #Infected #Voodoo

Last weekend we went to Social Media Preview Night at Knott's Scary Farm. We took a photo tour of the new Voodoo Maze, enjoyed a delicious reception, fought against the #Infected, and ran around screaming as monsters came near. We had a blast! Thanks, Knott's Berry Farm!

ALL CHECKED IN and ready to be scared!

VOODOO PHOTO TOUR

Touring a haunted maze with the lights on and without monsters is my kind of tour. Voodoo Maze is a haunted New Orleans. If you've been to New Orleans, you will recognize the beads hanging from Bourbon Street balconies, and creepy voodoo dolls (they even sell them in gift shops).

These Mardi Gras beads are not for catching.

What's a Voodoo Maze without a New Orleans' swamp? DO NOT fall in the water! You won't be seeing just alligators!

Lastly, do you remember seeing raised coffins in the New Orleans cemeteries? Well imagine walking through their cemetery late at night with monsters walking around.

RECEPTION

After we had our fill to all things delicious, we headed over to Special Ops: Infected.

SPECIAL OPS: INFECTED

Imagine running through a pitch-dark Camp Spooky with other team members holding guns, looking for survivors, then having zombies jump out or chase you even. It was scary, but at the same time pretty freakin' fun. By the time it's over, you're wondering, "What the heck just happened?! Let's do it again!"

For the rest of the night, we ran through mazes, screamed as we turned corners, and closed our eyes to the scariest rooms in the scariest mazes.

Knott's Scary Farm is at Knott's Berry Farm now through November 1st!
