Do you just love pancakes, but don't have time to make them? Well last Friday De Wafelbakkers came to our rescue with a "House Call" and delivered us bags of frozen pancakes to sample. The following morning, we put it to the test. We popped them into the microwave for 60 seconds, drizzled chocolate syrup over them, then topped them with whipped cream and berries. Voila! Breakfast is served!
It was super fast, easy to prepare, and perfect for my family who is always on-the-go. They come in many varieties like Buttermilk, Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, Maple, Minis, Whole Grain, Sweet Potato, and others. They are already available in many of the major grocery stores in the frozen section. I like that not only does it come in a big bag of 18 and 24, but inside, they come in mini-packs of 3 which keeps the rest of the pancakes fresher longer. You can find a list of their retailers here www.dewafelbakkers.com.

"DWB to the Rescue"
Right now through July 26th, their pancake-mobile is rescuing locals through Los Angeles and surrounding areas delivering bags of pancakes and coupons. Just follow them on Facebook or Twitter to see where they're at, and look for giant pancakes on top! Take a picture with their vehicle and post it via Instagram or Twitter with hashtag #DWBToTheRescue and get a free bag! Also, with every photo posted and bag given, they're donating a bag of pancakes to the Los Angeles Food Bank.
