You may have noticed Denny's new Fantastic Four-themed menu this summer. They have partnered up with 20th Century Fox to bring you fun themed menu items, and an exciting opportunity to win a trip for two to the movie premiere on August 4th!
We sampled the menu this week, and the "Invisible Woman Slam" comes with two blueberry buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh strawberries and sliced bananas drizzled with a delicious clear citrus glaze that you can't see with the naked eye. It also comes with two eggs (I like mine over medium), two bacon strips or two sausage links, and hash browns.
The tasty "Human Torch Skillet" will put your mouth on fire with jalapeños, their new spicy five pepper sauce, pepper jack queso, and two eggs your way. It also comes with a breakfast sausage, seasoned red-skinned potatoes, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and fresh pico de gallo. If you like it hot, you'll like this dish!
I mistakenly ordered the wrong molten chocolate Lava Cake on the menu, so please note that there are two. It was dreamy and delicious either way. The Doom Lava Cake also comes out warm, but the difference is it's topped with mini chocolate and white chocolate chips, and you also get chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla.
Other items on the Slamtastic 4 Menu includes The Thing Burger served with Cheddar Bun, the Fantastic Four Cheese Omelette, the Fantastic Four Fruit Smoothie, and the Strawberry Pancake Puppies.
