Fall is my favorite time of the year! Not only because I'm seeing my favorite fruit back on the menu, but because it's so festive, and there's so many fun things to do in Orange County! For example, Irvine Park Railroad in Orange is celebrating their 10th Annual Pumpkin Patch starting September 19th! Are you looking for the perfect pumpkin? There will be thousands of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes to choose from.

This year’s Pumpkin Patch activities include train rides around Irvine Regional Park, hay rides, panning for gold, carnival games, cookie decorating, John Deere tractor racers, face painting, picture stands, a moon bounce, pumpkin ring toss, a kid-friendly haunted house, and more!

PERFECT PHOTO OPS!

I just love the warmth of autumn colors. The woodsy background combined with brightly orange pumpkins are also the perfect backdrop to beautiful photos to cherish. If you're planning to take photos of your little ones in their Halloween costumes, I highly recommend bringing a change of clothing, because it's usually very warm this time of year. 

PUMPKIN CARTS

Need help with your perfect pumpkin? Look for these carts! They're made just for pumpkins.

The pumpkin patch is fun for the whole family or for play dates with friends. We enjoy going to their pumpkin patch year after the year because there's so much to do for all ages. Our favorite is riding the train around the park (the hayride is fun too), running through the kid-friendly hay maze, and enjoying ice cream to cool off.

prices for all activities will vary and may require a ticket.

PARKING FEES

$3.00 per vehicle on weekdays 

$5.00 per vehicle on weekends. 

Important Parking Information: Expect large crowds as Halloween nears. Arriving early is highly encouraged especially on the weekends.

Irvine Park Railroad offers other annual events including the Anniversary Celebration, Easter Eggstravaganza, 4th Grade California History Education Program, Pumpkin Patch, Christmas Tree Ranch, and Christmas Train.
