Two new exhibits at Pretend City! @PretendCity #LPOCanni #Giveaway end 7/17

It's my Blogiversary Month, and I'm doing 12 days of Giveaways until my Blogiversary Day on July 12th. What did you think about this morning's prizes? Fun right?

BONUS GIVEAWAY:

We're big fans of Pretend City. We share and highlight their monthly calendars every month. They also have Family Autism Events where they adjust their environments usually the last Monday of the month. Pretend City is kicking off Summer with two NEW exhibits on Tuesday, July 2nd! Here's a coupon for the event below:

Pretend City Children’s Museum has teamed up with two Orange County-based action-packed companies, Wahoo’s and etnies to promote the benefits of living a healthy and active lifestyle.
  • Wahoo’s makes a splash this summer with the debut of the new Pretend Café exhibit, a first for the taco business that celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
  • The Our Home exhibit gives guests a peek inside the Senizergues family’s home and tells the story of how Pierre-Andre Senizergues, owner of etnies uses his action sports background to influence active living with his family.

The Pretend Café featuring Wahoo’s highlights eating healthy with fresh meats and vegetables on its menu as a way to help introduce children to interesting ways to eat healthy foods and build lifelong habits to promote good health.  The Pretend Café carries the same playful vibe of their restaurants and features pretend food with Wahoo’s branded items that help add to the “realness” of a child’s play experience.

The family of world-champion professional skateboarder and owner of etnies, Pierre André Senizergues, will be showcased in the Our Home Exhibit as the featured family.  Action sports, like skateboarding, have inspired the family to live an active lifestyle by participating in sports and other fun activities that get the body moving and staying healthy. Likewise, the family complements their active lifestyle with conscious efforts to be strategic about their children’s nutrition.  Their ultimate goal is to inspire families to bring active and healthy together in everyday life and to reap the future benefits this offers.  Guests will hear first hand how they do this when visiting the exhibit as well as play in a fun, skate-inspired house.

Super Summer at Pretend City kicks off on July 2 at 10:00 a.m. with the exhibits debut and special ribbon-cutting by the owners of Wahoo's, Wing Lam and Ed Lee, as well as Pierre-Andre Senizergues and his family.  The event is packed full of super summer fun to include free Wahoo’s tacos, skateboard building workshop, a skate deck art wall, the youth rock band, One Car Garage and a child-friendly introduction to skateboarding by etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest staff.

The skateboard-building workshop gives children a hands-on opportunity to watch the etnies team show them how to build skateboards. Children will have the creative opportunity to participate in an art project by contributing to the creation of a giant skate deck-shaped wall masterpiece made of 100 shoeboxes.

Wahoo’s will also give children a chance to design their own stickers for one of the walls of the Wahoo’s Pretend Café and strike a surfer pose in front of the pretend Laguna Lifeguard Tower. Event giveaways include Wahoo’s temporary tattoos for children, etnies sunglasses, sticker pack and more.
