My Photo Gallery from Ringling Bros Circus | #BuilttoAmaze @HondaCenter #Anaheim

Last weekend, we were invited to attend a circus performance by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey - it was AMAZING! I must admit it was our first time at the circus so didn't know what to expect. I imagined a big tent, a ring master, clowns, animals, and a tight rope act, but it was much more than that.  Check out my photo gallery below.

PRE-SHOW
If you get there an hour before the show starts, you can visit the animals and watch clown performances in the pre-show at the Honda Center.

We saw circus tigers being playful and elephants eating right outside the center.

Inside, there were mini-performances with clowns. If you're lucky, you can also meet and take pictures with the clowns. They also have some activities and a bouncy-slide.

The stage became lively as the circus family entered the stage with bright and colorful lighting and costumes all the while the Ring Master sings "Built to Amaze". We saw aerial dancers, acrobats, unicyclists, stilt walkers, clowns, and animals.

This part is pretty cool. The King Charles Troupe is playing basketball on unicycles. They had some funny parts too.

One of our favorite performance is of the amazing Circus Skywalkers. You'll have to see to believe as they walk across by swinging upside down using only the loops around their feet.

Two married couples (Duo Fushion and Duo Solys) showed some true strength and flexibility in their amazing body-bending acts.

Another favorite is of these daredevils running on this spinning vortex. Wow. Check out the short video clip below. Yes you are seeing correctly, they were jumping rope on it.

Alex and Irina are a comedic duo from Russia. They were fun to watch. (They have a reputation for excellence in animal training, circus arts, and performing magic).

In the tight rope act, the performers rode bikes, jumped over each other and did some crazy stunts. AMAZING

Human CannonBall

Here the circus elephants steal the show. These Asian elephants were dancing, twirling, and formed a cross mount. How did they do that?

We were trying to catch the confetti at the end of the show. Loved the ending.

We really enjoyed the performance and thought they kept some traditions as well as add modern touches. You will be amazed.

Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey presents Built to Amaze! will be at Honda Center in Anaheim thru August 4th. For more information, please visit a previous post here: http://www.letsplayoc.com/2013/06/deal-for-ringling-bros-built-to-amaze.html
