Happy Weekend! We're nearing the end of our online Blogiversary Party. This next prize is brought to you by Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour! Their 6th Annual Ice Cream Eating Challenge was Sunday, July 19, 2015! Bring your game face as it's all for a great cause. 100% of the proceeds benefits CHOC Childrens and Make A Wish Foundation.



Win A Year Of Free Farrell's Ice Cream And $750
Last day to qualify was July 12, 2015. There were 3 ways to enter:

1. Donate a minimum of $20 to their event (100% of proceeds go to CHOC Children's and Make-A-Wish). You'll get a limited edition event T-shirt, $5 off your next vist to Farrell's and a 3-scoop qualifying sundae to enjoy at your leisure. Everyone that donates goes into a drawing to win a year of free Farrell's ice cream. Each Farrell's location will draw a winner!
2. There are 6 different categories to qualify! For donating, you’ll receive a qualifying sundae that you'll need to eat as fast as you can while being timed. The fastest in each category will be invited back to compete in the July 19, Championship event at Farrell’s in Brea, CA. Even if you don't qualify, don't worry, everyone that tries will still be entered into the drawing to win a year of free Farrell's ice cream. Each Farrell's location will draw a winner!
3. Championship Round! The fastest qualifiers in each category get invited back to Farrell's Championship event in Brea on July 19. They shut down the street, put up a stage and you battle it out to compete for the fastest ice cream eating title! Every first place winner receives a year of free Farrell's ice cream, a trophy and, if you are the winner of the Solo Zoo Challenge, it's $750 cash!

Come into any participating Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour Restaurant location by July 12 for your chance to qualify.


Individual Men

• Age: 16+
• Cost: $20
• Qualifying Ice Cream: 3-scoop qualification sundae
• Qualifying Prizes: Everyone that tries to qualify will receive an event T-shirt, $5 off their next Farrell's vist, and an entry into Farrell's drawing to win a year of free ice cream.
• Championship Ice Cream: 6-scoop Championship Pig's Trough Sundae
• Grand Prize: The 1st place winner at the Championship event will receive a year of free Farrell's ice cream and a trophy!

Individual Women

• Age: 16+
• Cost: $20
• Qualifying Ice Cream: 3-scoop qualification sundae
• Qualifying Prizes: Everyone that tries to qualify will receive an event T-shirt, $5 off their next Farrell's vist, and an entry into Farrell's drawing to win a year of free ice cream.
• Championship Ice Cream: 6-scoop Championship Pig's Trough Sundae
• Grand Prize: The 1st place winner at the Championship event will receive a year of free Farrell's ice cream and a trophy!

Individual Kids

• Age: 9-15 (with parent or legal guardian consent).
• Cost: $20
• Qualifying Ice Cream: Jr. 3-scoop qualification sundae
• Qualifying Prizes: Everyone that tries to qualify will receive an event T-shirt, $5 off their next Farrell's vist, and an entry into Farrell's drawing to win a year of free ice cream.
• Championship Ice Cream: 6-scoop Championship Jr. Pig's Trough Sundae
• Grand Prize: The 1st place winner at the Championship event will receive a year of free Farrell's ice cream and a trophy!

Big & Small

• Ages: 16+ with a child under the age of 9 (with parent or legal guardian consent).
• Cost: $20
• Qualifying Ice Cream: 3-scoop qualification sundae
• Qualifying Prizes: Each team that tries to qualify will receive an event T-shirt, $5 off their next Farrell's vist, and an entry into Farrell's drawing to win a year of free ice cream.
• Championship Ice Cream: 6-scoop Championship Pig's Trough Sundae
• Grand Prize: The 1st place winners at the Championship event will receive a trophy and each will receive a year of free Farrell's ice cream!

4-Person Team

• Ages: 16+
• Cost: $20 per person ($80 total for the team)
• Qualifying Ice Cream: Everyone gets their own 3-scoop qualification sundae
• Qualifying Prizes: Everyone that tries to qualify will receive an event T-shirt, $5 off their next Farrell's vist, and an entry into Farrell's drawing to win a year of free ice cream.
• Championship Ice Cream: The team will work together to eat a Farrell's 30-scoop Zoo sundae.
• Grand Prize: The 1st place team at the Championship event will each receive a year of free Farrell's ice cream and a trophy!

Solo Zoo Challenge (The Naader Challenge)

• Age: 16+
• Cost: $40
• Qualifying Ice Cream: 6-scoop qualification sundae
• Qualifying Prizes: Everyone that tries to qualify will receive an event T-shirt, $5 off their next Farrell's vist, and an entry into Farrell's drawing to win a year of free ice cream.
• Championship Ice Cream: 6-scoop Championship Pig's Trough Sundae
• Grand Prize: The 1st place winner at the Championship event will receive a year of free Farrell's ice cream, a trophy and $750 BIG ONES!!!!
• Championship Details: Our main event at the Championship will be the Solo Zoo Challenge. This will be a true head-to-head event with the one (1) fastest qualifier racing Naader "Freak8r" Reda to see can finish a Farrell's Famous Zoo Sundae first. The winner will walk away with a trophy, a year of free Farrell's ice cream, AND $750!!!!

"Grab the family and come on out to Farrell’s in Downtown Brea on July 19 starting at 11 am to cheer on our fastest ice cream eaters in each category as they battle head-to-head to see who will prevail as World's Fastest and Best Ice Cream Eaters~(According to Farrell's)! This event is hosted by Farrell's very own Jake & Max with very special host Henry DiCarlo from KTLA Morning News! We’re closing down the street in front of Farrell’s in Brea and throwing an old-fashioned fun family festival with rides, games, prizes, entertainment and some super special surprises."
