New Summertime Menu at Islands Burgers! Gift Card Giveaway!

Last week we were at Islands Burgers sampling their new summer menu items. Do you like your burgers with a kick? For a limited time, they're offering the Hana Hou Burger. It's topped with a spicy Machete aioli, pepper jack cheese, and beer onions.

HUNGRY? We thoroughly enjoyed a bowl of their Tortilla Soup with avocado, and their Nachos which was topped with cheddar & jack cheese, jalapenos, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa.

THIRSTY? They're offering two new refreshing summertime tropical cocktails - the Mixed Berry Cooler and the Marga'veza. The Mixed Berry Cooler is hand-shaken with mixed berries, Tito's Vodka, sweet and sour and a splash of soda. The Marga'veza is a beer cocktail made with Anejo tequila, Coors Light, sweet and sour, and a squeeze of citrus orange. They are both delish and sweet (just the way I like mine.)

My kids enjoyed a bowl of Mac N Cheese and a side of pineapple (with yogurt dip) which includes a beverage. Other options included a Jr. Burger, Hot Dog, Quesadilla, Grilled Cheese, Pasta, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Tenders, or Teriyaki Bowl.

Save room for dessert?  Our Chocolate Lava dessert was perfect for sharing. It came out with fudge brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, almonds, and a cherry. You can see the ice cream melting on our spoons before we even started, because the brownie is warm!

Gluten Free Options
You might like that they offer Gluten Free (GF) options like nachos, island fries, and cheddar fries for appetizers, and their sandwiches are served with iceberg lettuce instead of a bun. They also offer a cobb salad, tacos, and dessert sundaes. Note: They offer GF options, but they do not use separate cooking equipment.
