Enter the Why You Love OC Cities - Photo Contest @OCFair 2013! (by May 4th)

Alright, Shutterbugs. Who's up for a Photo Contest?

The 2013 OC Fair is asking local residents to grab their cameras and show why they love Orange County in the new OC Cities Photo Contest. Amateur and professional photographers 13 years of age and older who are either living, attending school or working in Orange County, California, are invited to submit photos of people, places or events in Orange County to fit the following categories:

•The Beauty of OC
•What Makes OC Great
•Community Heroes
•Iconic Images From My City
•City Landmarks
•Why I Love My City
•People of OC or My City
•Patriotic Themes

Accepted entries will receive one (1) complimentary admission ticket to the 2013 OC Fair! The best entries from each category will be included in a multi-media presentation shown daily in The Hangar at the 2013 OC Fair (July 12-August 11). 

Judges will look for the most original and artistic renderings of the spirit and feeling of Orange County.

Entries are due by May 4.

How to Enter:

Each photographer can submit up to three photographs and each photographer with at least one accepted entry will receive one complimentary admission ticket for the 2013 OC Fair (July 12-August 11). Submissions are due by May 4 and are only accepted via the online form available at ocfair.com. There are no processing fees to enter and since this contest is not part of the OC Fair Fine Art Photography Divisions, the entry limits in those competitions do not apply to this contest. The 2013 OC Fair, themed Come & Get It, is July 12 – August 11 and brings 23 days of food, rides, exhibits, animals, music, action sports and fun, as well as the Toyota Summer Concert Series at the Pacific Amphitheatre, The Hangar and Action Sports Arena.
