Family-Friendly #SpringBreak Options in Mission Bay @BahiaHotelSD

You don't have to spend a fortune to stay on the beach! Last week, we took a mini-vaca to meet up with my husband's sister's family visiting from Louisiana in San Diego. (They were on their Spring Break and wanted to explore SoCal: Palm Springs, San Diego, OC, LA, and lastly Ojai).

You know the last time I was there I stayed at Catamaran Resort so this time I wanted to check out their sister hotel - Bahia Hotel which is known as their family-friendly hotel.

Here's What We Liked:

Direct Access to the Beach.

We had direct access to the Mission Bay beaches from our hotel. It's right on the peninsula and the property is surrounded by the bay. (See picture below. They are the property located in the bottom half of the picture).

While we were waiting to check in, we parked in the back of the hotel and walked along the beach. (Note: Check-in is at 4pm)

Comfortable Rooms. 

Our room had an open feel, and we were very comfortable.

Our Room had a Kitchen.

(Note: studios and suites are equipped with full kitchens).

We had a nice view of Mission Bay. 

Some of the rooms had views of the garden or water views.

It's Peaceful.

Other Amenities include:

Great Location! 

It's located on the peninsula, have gorgeous views of Mission Bay, Belmont Park is within walking distance, and it's minutes away from the major attractions such as SeaWorld and San Diego Zoo.
