Good news! I asked them if the winner(s) can apply this toward any class as many may not be on Spring Break next week so they agreed to it. I'm happy to announce I'm extending this offer to you for another week! Good luck!
Please note: Wednesday afternoon Minecraft Labs are their most popular right now so will fill up fast.
CoWork+Play Fullerton is a brand new clubhouse for kids after school and a space for home
schoolers during the day. During spring break, however, it offers a special program for all children.
“Kids are naturally curious. This is a place where kids can follow their interests,” says Marieke Hensel, founder of CoWork+Play Fullerton. “We created a 1,500 square foot facility for all children to have a unique and safe place where kids can explore technology and business in a way that’s natural to them.”
DESCRIPTION:
CoWork+Play Fullerton’s spring camp focuses on children exploring technology and business in a playful way and at their own pace. It’s all about discovering a unique selection of inspiring labs and interactive classes where children learn from each other and are guided by their own interests. The offerings are diverse and full of action. They include:
- air hockey
- Wii championships
- Star Wars labs
- Star Wars movies
- MineCraft
- Lego Robotics labs
- Nerf Gun wars
- start your own business activities
- design your own machines
- learn to code
- create your website
- and more
CoWork+Play Fullerton offers children six connected rooms to play in:
- a lunch room,
- a Lego room,
- a computer room,
- a living room that provides a TV and comfy couch,
- a gym room
- and an air hockey room are available for children to roam around, play, and make friends.
CoWork+Play Fullerton currently offers weekly MineCraft labs and a wide range of other classes on an ongoing basis where children can bring their own laptops with MineCraft preloaded to play with and teach each other.
“Children are more than welcome to, but don’t have to, play MineCraft or join one of the labs,” Hensel says. “It is simply an option. We have so much space full of fun available for children to explore, learn and play. There is always enough room for children not participating in a certain class.”
