On Sunday, August 17th, the first 150 guests received vouchers for Free pizza at Pieology’s Market Place Grand Opening “Pizza Party” in Irvine. Diners that day also received Scratch & Win cards for various prizes redeemable on their next visits. (We won a free pizza, coupons, and free Cinnamon Sugar Strips.) The kids had fun with balloon animals. There was a huge line to get in, but surprisingly it moved pretty fast. Did you know that they can fast-fire your pizza ready in about 2 minutes? That’s pretty impressive!

MADE TO ORDER!

All their pizzas are made to order. For $7.95, you can create your own by selecting your choice of sauce, cheese, meats, and toppings. (GF crust also available for an additional $2) OR you can select one of their pizzas and add additional toppings. Your custom pizzas are moved along the assembly line then fast-fired in the oven.

Their number 6 has mozzarella, Parmesan, roasted red peppers, pesto, and garlic. It was full of flavor!

KID’S PIZZA

For kids (it’s the same size as the adults), we ordered a pizza half cheese and half pepperoni. It was WIN/WIN!

STRIPS

Great to share, Pieology offers strips in Herb Butter (below left) and Cinnamon Sugar (below right) for just $2.95.

All their pizzas were tasty and great to share! It was also great to meet the new franchisee owners, Amber and Michael Chang! They were super sweet. You might recognize Michael as a famous tennis player. Michael told us a story about how his brother and former coach, Carl Chang (Founder and CEO of Pieology) became a food connoisseur after traveling the world with him. Also, they’re from New York/New Jersey so they call their pizzas – “Pie”.
