Nominate Your Local Community Project Today! Win a $2,000 Grant Sponsored by Huggies | #UltraHug #ad

Babies are such blessings in this world. They grow so much in their first year of life – they sit up, learn to crawl, stand, then walk. My Goddaughter is now one, and she’s running all over the place. Before I know it, she’ll be school age and fundraising for her school’s PTA (Parent Teacher Association). Time sure flies and they grow up way too fast. Right now when you nominate a local community project, Huggies will award 10 projects a $2,000 grant. I selected PTA, but you can nominate your favorite park, playground, a recreational center, or any local project you want. Nominate yours today! For official rules, click here.

Why PTA?

In our school district, our PTA’s funds go to computers in the classrooms, school field trips, assemblies, teacher supply reimbursement, and more. Last year through our school’s recycling program, families could donate their plastic water bottles or aluminum cans to fund a school garden. It did really well that they didn’t have to do it again this year. Right now I have two sons on different campuses, and I can see how one school need more PTA involvement than the other. The one with more community involvement is well organized, have more money, and have better programs for their kids. If we win the grant, I would give it to our school’s PTA to help with school programs and support our local community.

We are fortunate to have awesome local parks in Orange County, California. My kids love the spray parks and the large play structures. A grant could help your community build one too!
