Online reservations are highly recommended. Tours depart every 30 minutes. We had to reschedule a few times because the tour times we wanted were sold out. Because there are lots to see, plan to spend a good morning or a full day here. We were first divided up into groups before we watched a short introductory film, then we all jumped on a tram.

The first two hours of the tour is guided. We went up and down different themed-neighborhoods which were designed to be used over and over again. For example, the Seavers House from Growing Pains was also the house on Gremlins. We also drove by where they were setting up to film The Big Bang Theory, an alley where they filmed Spiderman's famous kissing scene, and that's to name a few. We learned things like there is no second floor in the homes we see, and they only build when they're about to film to keep costs down.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Archive
Batman and Harry Potter fans can go crazy at the Archive Museum where they display costumes and authentic props from all eight of the Batman films and all eight Harry Potter films. Right now you can also get a sneak peak of the new Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice costumes!

Picture Car Vault
We jumped back on the tram to visit the Bat Cave where they house Batman's vehicles including the new "Screamer" Batmobile from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

Pretty Little Liars
Fans of Pretty Little Liars were geeking out as we stood inside the coffee shop and transitioned to their classroom. We learned about lighting and how they shoot different angles of the same scene over and over again. Because some of it was currently being filmed and have not been aired, they asked us not to photograph this part of the tour.

Studio 48: Script to Screen
The tour ends at Studio 48 where you can enjoy refreshments at Central Perk before or after you explore the exhibit. There's also a very large gift shop if you want to shop souvenirs before you head back. This part of the tour is unguided. You could easily spend another hour or two here. This is where we took the photo on the Friends couch below!

Green Screen technology is amazing! Hint: Make sure you make time to film yourself on a Harry Potter broom or Batman motorcycle to be the Star in your own film!

Horror Made Here
There for a limited time is Horror Made Here where it features Freddy Krueger's glove, hat and sweater from Nightmare on Elm Street, the original cracked bedroom door from The Exorcist, the doll from Annabelle, the music box from The Conjuring, and others! You can also learn more about the art of horror make-up by by Oscar®-winning special effects expert Christien Tinsley. The artist's display includes the creative process from design, sculpting, and molding to painting and application. But don't miss the chance to take a photo of your head on a platter for memories.
What a great way to spend time with family and friends especially movie enthusiasts! The whole tour took about 2 to 2.5 hours, but you could easily make a whole day out of it. I loved going with my girlfriends, and might wait a couple of years to bring my boys. If you're a big fan of Harry Potter, Batman, Friends, or Pretty Little Liars, you will love this tour!
