The new Outlets at San Clemente is officially open! It's Orange County's very first ocean-facing outdoor outlet shopping & dining destination! Today we went to the Ribbon-cutting ceremony, and it was exciting! Some stores were already open, some were still moving in, and we were told there is a walking trail that takes you down to the beach!
Their holiday decors are already up, and they're getting ready for their Grand Opening Tree Lighting Ceremony this Saturday, 11/14 at 5pm! With 18 years in the making, the outlet is finally getting about 70 retailers which includes brands like Calvin Klein, Cole Haan, Columbia Sportswear, GUESS, H&M, Levi’s, Nike, PUMA, Tilly’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour and White House Black Market. For eateries, there will be a Panera Bread, Ruby's Diner, and Starbucks.
More to come! Their final 500,000 square foot development plan includes more than a dozen dining options including four restaurants with a scenic ocean-view overlooking the Marblehead Coastal development. It's not only family-friendly, it's dog-friendly!

You don't have to wait until Black Friday to get the best deals, because their Moonlight Madness all-night-shopping starts on Thursday night at 8pm! Shops will remain open all night throughout Black Friday, November 27th until 10 pm. Holiday savings will last throughout the weekend. There will also be family-friendly entertainment at the various outdoor courtyards and promenades.
The Outlets at San Clemente is absolutely gorgeous. It took me about an hour this morning to get down there coming from North Orange County. It's definitely a great day out with the family to not only do some outdoor shopping, but get some ocean air, possibly dine with an ocean-view, and even take a walk down to the beach. (It's not right on the beach, but it will be a nice walk down to the beach). I saw some stores that I want to shop already, and I can't wait to take my family back in a week to see Santa and for more holiday shopping.
