2013 Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival and Tips for Next Year | @PoLALobsterFest #LALobsterFest

Over the weekend, my friend Jenn and I were at The Port of Los Angeles LobsterFest held in Ports O’ Call Village in San Pedro. A large inflatable lobster arch welcomed us.

Expect to stand in a long line to get your lobster. Tip: If you upgrade to First Class, not only will it go to local non-profits, it will take you to a shorter line for food and the bar with a private dining area by the water. (So worth it!)

2 On a Plate Special” for $34! That’s 2.5 lbs of lobster!

There were plenty of seating areas, but if you are lucky, you will find one with shade.

All First Class wristband holders had access to a private dining area by the water.

The claws are about to come off!
There are also other food available for purchase, live music, carnival games, vendors, and rides.

The 2013 Lobster Festival was held on September 13, 14, and 15th along the Historic San Pedro Waterfront in Ports O’ Call Village. Admissions were $10 per person. Kids 12 and under got in free. Most parking was free. For more information, please visit their website at lobsterfest.com.

Disclosure: We received media passes to this event and paid for our lobster meals out of pocket. All opinions are our own. All images by LetsPlayOC.com unless where indicated. Experiences may vary.

Did you make it this year? What did you think?
