Second Screen Live: The Little Mermaid! #Review @DisneyPictures #LittleMermaid

Last week we were invited to a new interactive screening of Second Screen Live: The Little Mermaid. It's a new second-screen technology that allows audiences to engage with the film and other audience members with their iPad's. It's the only time it's acceptable to sing-along and cheer in a movie theater. PLUS it gets competitive!

Before you go to the theater, download the FREE “Second Screen Live: The Little Mermaid App” from the iTunes Store to your iPad. (Note: iPad or iPad mini with iOS 5.0 or higher is required).

Once inside and the screening starts, it'll prompt you to register a name while the movie screen walk you through the set up process.  I'll highlight a few fun things we were able to do below.

Everyone sing along to Crab-E-oke!
Come on - You know you want to!

Race other audience members while you unscramble puzzles during the Ursula Scramble.

The movie will pause while you play Mer-Maze!

Time to check scores!

So much fun! You'll also play Titan Trivia, find hidden treasure, pop bubbles, and more! We had a blast and can't wait to see other movies done this way.

This brand new, magical theatrical experience started on September 20 at the following theaters:
  • City Center 15: Cinema de Lux; White Plains, NY
