MOVIE TIME with The Croods Movie and Friends | @FHEInsiders #TheCroodsDVD

As a Fox Home Ent Insiders, we're celebrating the Blu-ray/DVD release of The Croods Movie. A selected few were invited to host a pre-screening party of the movie, and well, you know my answer was, YES!! Our morning started out with a shipment filled with little surprises for our guests. I was super excited to see these blue bags when I opened our box.

WE'RE READY!

As mentioned before when we were planning, we really wanted to keep the menu as simple as possible with movie theater staples such as hot dogs, nachos, and popcorn. Check out our spread! How did we do?

DINO NUGGETS!

NACHOS!

This was our first time using the Bakers and Chef's Nacho Cheese Sauce from a can, and it was very simple to use. It came in liquid form, and we just heated it up over the stove. I think next time I'll have to start my preparations earlier and use my crock pot.

Of course, you can't have a Movie Night without POPCORN!

SIMPLE CRAFT:

We received popcorn cups and popcorn in each favor bag, but I wanted them to enjoy their souvenirs later at home so I came up with this simple craft.

Let them decorate their popcorn bags with markers, stickers, crayons.

MOVIE TIME!

Our friends grabbed Belt and their new soft blankies to make themselves comfortable. =)

Here's what were in those favor bags:

• 1 puzzle
• 1 paint set
• 1 popcorn cup (with microwave popcorn)
• 1 bag
• 1 blanket
• The Croods activity sheets

Love the color and how soft our blankets were.

Belt is so CUTE.

DESSERT: MAKE S'MORES!

For Dessert, we made s'mores in the microwave. Hint: Melt chocolate first before adding marshmallows for about 20-30 seconds. Then, microwave them all together without top cracker for another 10-15 seconds.

Since we've had the movie, we've watched it about 5 times, and it's still funny! We love how vibrant and beautiful the graphics are. Lots of fun family moments everyone can relate to. I especially loved seeing Grug (the Dad) try to separate his daughter from Guy. Eep reminds me of myself when I was her age wanting to explore world, not taking no for an answer, and not being afraid to take chances.

Thanks, Fox Home Ent Insiders! We loved Movie Night with The Croods DVD and our friends!

The Croods is now on Blu-ray/DVD! I'm also giving away a copy with Belt! Enter below:
