Ripley's Believe it or Not 's traveling exhibit brings back many memories as a child watching the fascinating oddities of Earth coming to life on my TV. My children have never had the wonder of seeing the freaky and fascinating world that is not the normal.
Some of our favorite exhibits that we saw last week included:
- Artwork using different everyday mediums such as candy, toast, keyboard keys, car parts, and more!
- Interactive optical and auditory illusions that educate and entertain,
- Fascinating cultural objects such as shrunken heads and ringed necks, and
- Pre-historic fossils.
The artwork was amazing! All made of everyday items! (Toast, keyboard keys, and candy).
Move your body to explore the colorful world of time and motion!
Shrunken heads are a little creepy but cool!
They take the bones out and sew the skin back together smaller.
You'll have to see it to believe it!
This gave me a neck-ache just looking at it! Owww
The Megladon was HUGE! It could have eaten all of us!

Since my son wants to be a "Dinosaur Digger" when he grows up, this was his favorite area.
Compare the skulls of a carnivore and herbivore.

The largest man, Robert Wadlow, was 8 ft 11 inches!
Titanoboa was a hit as the kids crawled through this life sized snake!
There are so many great pieces in the Ripley's Believe It or Not exhibit, you can see more creepy and fascinating items in my photo album or go see it for yourself! Ripley's Believe It or Not is here now thru January 4, 2014.
